Yesterday Emma and I went to Costco for things we really needed and came home with a red wagon. I've really always wanted a red wagon but could never justify getting one - until now. I blatantly ignored the 1 1/2 years and up suggestion on the box, assembled the wagon and belted Emma in. It was beautiful outside so I put a sun hat on Emma and a blanket and toys into the wagon and we went to clean up the last of the leaves from the yard.
As I scooped up leaves Emma played with her keys and watch me. Every time I looked up and waved and said hi she made happy noises and waved back.
I'm not sure who thought it was more fun, me or her. And so I said hi and waved over, and over....
......and over. I probably could have gotten more leaves cleaned up if I hadn't been having so much fun with Emma, but the leaves can wait.
