We finally got our piano tuned after ten years of disuse. Surprisingly it was in really good shape. Emma is very pleased with the results.

Emma and Lady Girl
Emma was so excited she fell over backward right after we took this picture.
They were intensely curious about each other and Emma was unfazed as Lady Girl launched herself towards her.
At one point Emma was very vocal, no doubt trying to tell us all about her new friend.
More happy baby and dog.
We may or may not have been fast enough to catch Lady Girl as she tried to give Emma kisses.
Then there was some celebratory dancing.
After Emma's adventures with Lady Girl we all piled into the car and went out to brunch. Enid and I sat in the back seat so Emma had lots of company for the ride.
Emma was looking at Enid....
.....then at mommy.
Here we are headed for brunch.
Emma at Brunch
When Enid and Isaiah came to visit we also went out for brunch at an Indian place in town. The food was delicious and Emma had a great time. She spent most of the time in her own chair, but towards the end of the meal she got to sit with Todd and Isaiah.
So exciting! Lots of smacking the table and standing on Todd's lap and even some low fives for Isaiah.

Sippy Cups
After our last visit to the doctor, he suggested we go ahead and give Emma some water in a cup. So, Sofia took Emma on a two separate little field trips today and on each of them they came home with a sippy cup.
But then I got distracted by the monkey. Again.
They cups were fun to play with but I was a little distracted by this monkey.
After a while I had a pretty good try with the red cup.
But then I got distracted by the monkey. Again.
